Social Skills Training

Social skills training helps children develop the social language, emotional processing, and self-regulation skills necessary for being a successful member of a group. Therapists model and teach the necessary skills for developing and maintaining relationships. Children are provided with beneficial feedback from peers and valuable on-the-spot coaching by therapists; who teach, practice, and reinforce the skills necessary for successful social interactions and relationships.
