Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose fine motor skills, activities of daily living, visual perceptual/visual motor skills, handwriting, and sensory processing disorders. 
  • Treat delays related to fine motor development, activities of daily living, visual perception/visual motor skills, handwriting, and sensory processing disorders. 
  • Provide training and education to family/caregivers and other professionals.
  • Document evaluation results and daily progress notes according to Policy and Procedures of The TEACH Group.
  • Work collaboratively with team members from other disciplines.
  • Attend and participate in weekly staff and team meetings.
  • Participate in off-site Preschool Screenings.

  • Proficient in administration and interpretation of Occupational Therapy assessments appropriate for the pediatric population.

Education, Experience, Licensing Requirements

  • Masters or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
  • Licensed in Tennessee
  • Experience in pediatrics preferred
