Clinical Psychologist

The TEACH Group is a private practice outpatient pediatric therapy facility. We strive to improve the lives of children and families by providing excellent service and care. We are difference-makers and confident in our ability to help families meet their goals. We provide Speech and Language, Occupational Therapy, Behavioral, and Psychological services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Psychological Consultations to discuss parent concerns, review the child history, and make recommendations for appropriate course of action.
  • Provide diagnostic psychological evaluations for children of all ages.
  • Provide parent coaching/training to help equip parents to manage behavior, and increase the effectiveness of discipline strategies.
  • Provide therapy to address issues including anxiety, mood problems, emotional regulation, and self confidence.
  • Provide Social Skills Groups/Training to help with communication, relationships, and emotional regulation

Qualifications/Skills

  • Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving and planning skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Mission driven and service mindset
  • Proficient in administration and interpretation of assessments of developmental and psycho-educational disorders such as autism spectrum disorder, behavioral disorders, dyslexia, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, developmental disorders, and other school issues.

Education, Experience, Licensing Requirements

  • Doctorate degree in Psychology
  • Licensed Psychologist in Tennessee
  • Experience in pediatrics preferred
